Josh Banks is a Sydney based painter and new media artist who paints, draws and tells stories through (digital) motion graphics. Currently working with those chosen mediums, Josh is experimenting in their combination to realise interesting and different results.
Originally trained in a Bachelor of Visual Communications, at The South Australian College of Advanced Education. Josh has worked as a Graphic Designer, Illustrator, Web Site designer/programmer, Animator and Professional Musician in London, Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne.

Josh's Design clients have included "The Bell Shakespeare Company", designing their new media design over a seven year period. "Symphony Australia" designing their printed programs for the Symphony Orchestra's across the country for a three year period. In house graphic designer for the "Adelaide Fringe Festival", 1994 and 1996. Free-lance work for numerous record companies such as "Mushroom", "EMI", "Virgin", "Sony", "Festival", and others. "The Historic Houses Trust of NSW" Museums. The South Australian State Government's "Living Health" support of Arts and Cultural events in South Australia. Josh's work and interests have always been very much based within the Arts and Music Industries.
Also during this time Josh has produced and exhibited his own personal artwork. Work hanging at the Australian Centre for Photography "Project Wall", and a handful of solo exhibitions in Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney.
